What is raw foodism?

This time I decided to share my small experience on raw foodism. When I first heard about it, I was very surprised how people can live eating only fruits and vegetables, but a bit later I found they also eat seeds, nuts and everything what is raw, even meat, fish and eggs.

What is raw foodism?
Raw foodism (or rawism) is the practice of consuming uncooked, unprocessed, and often organic foods as a large percentage of the diet. Depending on the type of lifestyle and results desired, raw food diets may include a selection of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds (includingsprouted whole grains such as gaba rice), eggs, fish (such as sashimi), meat (such as carpaccio), and non-pasteurized/non-homogenizeddairy products (such as raw milk, raw milk cheese, and raw milk yogurt).

My experience
My friend and I decided to try this type of nutrition for one month. At the beginning we were very excited and enjoyed every time we eat. But we always felt hungry. Later on we started feeling a little bit dizzy, weak and nervous.

Weakness and dizzyness
The main reason we felt so, on my opinion, is that we didn't eat enough and the food we bought from supermarket. This means, it is not local, so not organic and ecologic. Of course, local food may also be not organic and ecologic, but there is less nitrates and chemicals used producing it. So, raw foodists should eat enough food and it is recommended to eat it local, in the best case, from your own garden.

Feeling nervous
We ate too little and we were always hungry. But still, sometimes we ate too much, but the feeling of fullness always disappeared very quickly and we were hungry again. :) I guess, we could be nervous, because our organisms were removing toxins from body. Removing can be not only physical, bus psychical as well. (?) In physical way I had a running nose. In addition, it was quite expensive to be raw foodists for us. This was a pressure for us.

Though I had these unpleasant consequences, I'd like to become a raw foodist. Because I think this is a best way of nutrition.
